4EU+ Alliance

The 4EU+ European University Alliance brings together seven comprehensive, research-intensive, public universities from four regions of Europe to strengthen the European vision of deepened cooperation and mutual enrichment by developing a new quality of cooperation in teaching, education, research and administration, leading to the creation of a truly integrated European University System.


4EU+ to share its experience in a new pilot project on a European status for European Universities

4EU+ joins forces with the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU), Una Europa, EU-Conexus, Charm-EU and the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) in a new EU project on devising a model of a high-level and formalised strategic cooperation for European University alliances.

ED-AFFICHE, a joint proposal of six European University Alliances (Una Europa, 4EU+, CHARM-EU, EC2U, EU-CONEXUS and Unite!) has been selected in the call for proposals to pilot a joint European Degree label.

"Culture, Democracy, International Affairs through the lens of Area Studies": registration open

Students of 4EU+ member universities have time until 26 February to register for the online course "Culture, Democracy, International Affairs through the lens of Area Studies". The course is run jointly by Charles University, Heidelberg University, University of Milan and the University of Warsaw.

Joint Projects

4EU+ Educational Projects

Collaboration in education is one of the central objectives of the 4EU+ European University Alliance. 4EU+ intends to build its shared approach to university educa-tion by encouraging collaborative projects bringing together academics from the six 4EU+ member universities.

Academic Partnership for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (API)

Project sponsored by the Polish National for Academic Exchange NAWA which aims to develop durable solutions in the area of scientific cooperation.

Charles University 4EU+ Mini-Grants

Since 2019, Charles University supports teams composed of partners from at least three 4EU+ universities in the form of so-called mini-grants, seed funding for activities focused on research and research-based education.
