4EU+ Alliance

The 4EU+ European University Alliance brings together seven comprehensive, research-intensive, public universities from four regions of Europe to strengthen the European vision of deepened cooperation and mutual enrichment by developing a new quality of cooperation in teaching, education, research and administration, leading to the creation of a truly integrated European University System.

‘Sustainability’ was the overall theme at this year’s 4EU+ Annual Meeting that took place at the University of Copenhagen on 26-28 October.

UW summarised its participation in 4EU+ at a conference

165 shared courses, coordination of 12 educational projects, joint research, summer schools and workshops organised under four Flagship programmes, development of the 4EU+ student portal, and intensification of international cooperation - the University of Warsaw has summarised its participation in the 4EU+ Alliance, during a conference held on 10 October 2022.

VIRTCHEM 2.0: The VIRtual Immersive Education for CHEMistry and Chemical Engineering- call for participation

Take part in the second edition of the VIRTCHEM course, a joint course organized by the University of Milan, Charles University (Prague) and Sorbonne University (Paris), for a journey into the world of chemistry with immersive 3D virtual technology.

Joint Projects

4EU+ Educational Projects

Collaboration in education is one of the central objectives of the 4EU+ European University Alliance. 4EU+ intends to build its shared approach to university educa-tion by encouraging collaborative projects bringing together academics from the six 4EU+ member universities.

Academic Partnership for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (API)

Project sponsored by the Polish National for Academic Exchange NAWA which aims to develop durable solutions in the area of scientific cooperation.

Charles University 4EU+ Mini-Grants

Since 2019, Charles University supports teams composed of partners from at least three 4EU+ universities in the form of so-called mini-grants, seed funding for activities focused on research and research-based education.
