The 4EU+ European University Alliance is a transnational strategic association of Charles University in Prague, Heidelberg University, Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, Sorbonne University in Paris, the University of Copenhagen, the University of Geneva, the University of Milan, and the University of Warsaw. The 4EU+ Alliance has one vision: to create one comprehensive research-intensive European University through a new quality of cooperation in teaching, education, research and administration.

We are pleased to announce that the NODE project has resulted in the publication of a new book: The Language of Othering in a Diverse Europe (Brill, 2025). Edited by Dr. Marta Falkowska and Prof. Jadwiga Linde-Usiekniewicz of the University of Warsaw, the volume is available in open access, free of charge.

The 4EU+ Alliance took an active role at the EAIE 2025 Conference in Gothenburg, showcasing its projects, engaging in key discussions, and strengthening collaboration and visibility among European University alliances.

With deep sadness, we share the news that Dr Bartłomiej Michałowicz, a member of the 4EU+ team and a long-standing employee of the University of Warsaw, passed away suddenly on 11 August 2025.
