The THELMA+ final conference will take place at the University of Milan on 6 November 2026. It will bring together researchers from the four partner universities together with healthcare professionals, institutional actors and representatives of civil society to discuss multilingual communication, accessibility and equitable access to health information and socio-legal rights.
Sessions will address multilingual health communication, health literacy, legal and administrative communication, language rights, accessibility and communicative barriers affecting marginalized communities. The conference will conclude with a roundtable bringing together academic, institutional and civil society perspectives.
The conference will be held in blended format and can be attended either in person at the University of Milan or online via Microsoft Teams. Participation is free of charge; registration is required. Registered participants will receive the Teams access link before the event.
