The recruited team members will work on the development of three 4EU+ projects that received funding in the first 4EU+ call for educational projects.

Call for Applications: 4EU+ Plurality of Memories Fellowship in Prague 2020

“Plurality of Memories in Europe in a Global Perspective” is now opening a call for post-doc fellows in Prague: This project started as an interdisciplinary initiative developed by scholars in the fields of history, literature, anthropology, political science, memory studies, visual culture studies and sociology from four universities of the 4EU+ Alliance. It aims to create a European pole of excellence in Memory Studies by encouraging students’ and scholars’ collaboration and mobility between the six universities of the 4EU+ Alliance.


Who can apply: postdoctoral researchers and advanced Ph.D. students from 4EU+ universities


Duration: The short-term fellowship will last for 5-7 days, during September-November 2020. The fellowship consists of covered for flight tickets, university-arranged accommodation, and a fixed daily allowance.

  • Clear 4EU+ university affiliation

University of Warsaw offers a free Polish language and culture course for 4EU+ students




This summer, Polonicum, the Polish Language School of the University of Warsaw, will offer a summer course on Polish language and culture in an online format. The course will run from 3 to 28 August, 2020. The participation is free of charge for students from 4EU+ member universities.


Depending on the selected course level, the students will be able to obtain from 4 to 5 ECTS credits.


For this course, modern platforms and tools for online teaching and learning will be put in use. The Polonicum teachers are certified in teaching Polish as a foreign language and experienced in teaching in a multicultural environment.

Summer school of Single cell – From lab to data analysis

Single cells summer school, established as a result of long-term cooperation among several instutions, will take place in Pilsen, Czech Republic, on 2-9 September 2020. It covers all steps of sample preparation and data analysis.


This eight days intensive hands-on school focuses on experiment design, sample selection and preparation, quality control, sequencing, understanding NGS data formats, sequence editing, read mapping, handling potential problems and finally data interpretation.


The school is intended for students and young researchers with fundamental laboratory skills at least.

Spring University Prague 2020:

European Identity between Unity and Diversity


The Spring University Prague 2020 newly offers four scholarships for students of strategic partner universities of the Charles University (all 4EU+ universities are among them). Admitted students will be asked to pay a registration fee of 350 EUR. The standard programme fee is 860 EUR.


The objective of the Spring University Prague 2020, “European Identity between Unity and Diversity”, is to provide students with a broad understanding of the most significant political and social issues in contemporary Europe.

Prague Summer School on Immigration and Asylum Law

Internship opportunities for students

EIT Food RIS Fellowships – call for applications


RIS Fellowships dedicated to MSc students, graduates and young entrepreneurs from EIT RIS countries. They will have the opportunity to apply academic knowledge in practical context of work to spur a weave of entrepreneurial innovations in their home countries. RIS Fellowships interns will be engaged in learning-by-doing activities (internal projects and tasks) carried out by each host companies. RIS Fellowships interns will be provided with 1350 € scholarship/per month;


RIS Talents dedicated to doctoral students and young postdocs representing scientific disciplines other than food science from EIT RIS countries. They will benefit from lessons learned in their own academic research and will also be encouraged to engage in industrial collaboration or entrepreneurship. RIS Talents interns will be participated in innovation projects of EIT Food as well as R&D projects by becoming involved in dedicated internships in the EIT Food partner organizations. RIS Talents interns will be provided with 2000 € scholarship/per month.


Best candidate for the internship should:

  • be a student or graduate of MSc (Fellowships); D. student or post-doc (Talents)

  • have an interest in the agri-food sector.

  • have proactive attitude and be passionate about extra activities;

  • be eager to gain new experience, willing to learn and self-motivated;

  • have analytical skills, be open-minded, goal-oriented and team player;

  • be ready to work in an international environment and speaks English very well;

  • be available min. 3 months from July until December 2019;

  • have a cross-country mobility allowances and health insurance.
