Oncology, combining preclinical (i.e. in silico, in vitro, in vivo) and clinical (early and late phases) research becomes even more complex once we consider additional related complementary fields of investigations. Consequently, oncological research becomes more and more cost- and time-consuming. This Summer School will give an overview of the different axes of research in oncology and different fundings of research.
Within the scope of the 4EU+ consortium, Charles University (Czech Republic), the University of Milan (Italy) and Sorbonne University (France) have launched a call of proposals for early career scholars (PhD students, qualified undergraduate students), with a scientific expertise in the fields of Public, Constitutional, European, International or Comparative Law and/or Linguistics.
This open online course introduces the main concept and approaches within memory studies. Drawing on case studies from different European countries and regions, the course explores different ways of remembering Europe’s complicated past and investigates how these forms of remembering influence life, politics and culture across contemporary Europe.
Most of the 4EU+ universities open some of their online courses to all 4EU+ students again in the Spring - Summer semester 2023 (January – June 2023). MERGEDgate is an interdisciplinary workshop on global environment and development that will take place in Chiavenna, Italy, on 27 - 30 June 2023.
The workshop is open to bachelor students in the general disciplines of natural, social or economic sciences, at the Universities of Copenhagen, Milano and Warsaw.

"Plurality of Memories in Europe in a Global Perspective" is now opening a call for students and junior researchers from Ukraine affiliated with any of the 4EU+ partner universities who have shown the tenacity and courage to stand up for Ukraine and its citizens during the ongoing conflict. We are looking for applicants who have demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to enacting positive social change and inspiring others to do the same, from helping people to relocate, organizing donations or humanitarian aid, providing psychological assistance or volunteering otherwise, to spreading awareness about the ongoing events in Ukraine by organizing public debates or discussions. The selected participants will be awarded short-term mobility grants at a flat rate that should cover travel expenses, accommodation, and daily allowances.

Thinking AI: Bringing together ethical, legal and social aspects of AI is a free online course prepared within the 4EU+ educational project open to wide public.
The European Student Assembly (ESA) is a grassroots project organized within the European Universities Community (EUC) that gathers each year more than 200 students from most European University Alliances (EUA) to debate current issues, draft political recommendations for the future of Europe and advocate them among stakeholders and decision makers.
The European Student Assembly will hold its second edition from 31 May to 2 June 2023 at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France.

The projects can focus on initiating international research collaboration, organizing joint educational activities (workshops, soft skill courses, etc.) and developing sociocultural collaboration and strengthening the third role of the university (active involvement in the social discourse and search for solutions to global economic, social and environmental issues).

The 4EU+ project “ABC in Biodiversity” which is coordinated by the University of Warsaw in cooperation of Sorbonne University and Charles University launches three online/field courses for BA or MA students from the three universities in summer semester 2021/2022.
It is time to make a difference and effectively work on environment and development.
After the pilot stage of sharing online courses in the summer semester, most of the 4EU+ universities will offer some of its courses (usually online or blended) to the students of other 4EU+ universities in the winter semester 2021/2022.

We would like to invite master/ doctoral students/ young researchers to participate in the short module programme "Academic Writing: Making your readers care, understand, and remember,” organised by Charles University as part of the project “Academic Partnership for Innovation in Teaching and Learning” (API), funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange.
