The IBLA project is a lifelong learning initiative that aims to share knowledge and provide high-level skills training in socially responsible international business law to legal and business professionals. IBLA has already successfully reached its target audiences and now seeks to expand its outreach. The project takes the form of an 8-day summer school, allowing participants to dedicate focused time for active participation in courses. Starting in 2022, IBLA has partnered with the Danish Bar Association (Advokatsamfundet), which not only distributes information about the programme but also allocates 56 continuous education credits for IBLA. Additionally, future partnerships are planned with Bar Associations in Poland, the Czech Republic, and another country that will potentially become the fourth consortium partner. The main objective of the project is to offer green education and training at the highest academic and professional levels. It specifically focuses on socially responsible business law and addresses key challenges faced by practitioners and European society as a whole. The courses cover various topics including ethical global supply chains, global carbon market and emission trading systems, green public procurement, the use of amicable forms of dispute resolution, and the role of public interest in commercial cases.
