On 22 January 2025, the 4EU+ Alliance hosted the 1CORE Workshop for Alliances: Sharing Best Practices to Enhance Governance Models at its new premises in Brussels. This hybrid workshop focused on strengthening governance within European University alliances, gathering 32 on-site and over 100 online participants, representing various alliances.

The 4EU+ Alliance has successfully completed its first ‘External Reviewing’, conducted as part of the quality management system 4EU+QUALITY that serves to develop and enhance the quality of the 4EU+ educational offer.

On 6 and 7 February 2025, META-UN, a global outreach project under the 4EU+ Alliance, will host its launch conference. META-UN’s aim is to establish a framework and an interface for cutting-edge research and educational activities with direct input from United Nations (UN).

From November 21–22, 2025, UNIGE hosted a Flagship 1 meeting on “Migration and Health,” marking the alliance’s first collaboration with WHO and preparing for the World Health Assembly in May 2025.

On 20-22 November 2024, the University of Milan organized a three-day event to launch the third edition of the University Diploma awarded by Sorbonne University and offered in collaboration with Charles University, Heidelberg University, University of Geneva, University of Milan and University of Warsaw.
