Digital transformation lies at the heart of the 4EU+ vision for a truly integrated European university. 1CORE WP5 focuses on creating innovative digital infrastructure and services that seamlessly connect students, staff, and researchers across the Alliance, enhancing education, mobility, and collaboration opportunities.
This work package encompasses tasks that ensure access to shared resources and support collaboration across all 4EU+ member institutions.
Task 5.1 focuses on designing and implementing a GDPR-compliant distributed 4EU+ information system. This system will enable easy access to 4EU+ data and streamline collaboration. Additionally, the task includes the implementation of the European Student Identifier as a unique student identifier, facilitating the exchange of credentials and promoting student mobility across the Alliance.
Task 5.2 focuses on creating the 4EU+ student portal, which will serve as the main platform for students to access course catalogues, mobility programmes, accommodation options, and other educational resources. The portal will also enhance networking and communication within the 4EU+ community.
Task 5.3 focuses on developing and refining common digital tools, such as the 4EU+ web, intranet, and groupware. These tools aim to improve communication, collaboration, and resource access across the Alliance, tailored to the specific needs identified by the member institutions.
Task 5.4 aims to create a GDPR-compliant data management policy for the 4EU+ Alliance. It will ensure secure handling, collection, processing, and sharing of data, supporting research and educational activities across all member institutions.
