Inclusive cities – regenerative resources: an Interdisciplinary challenge-based research and Joint Study Programme on urban health and climate change (ICRR)

'Inclusive Cities' project workshop in Copenhagen (March 2024)

The first 'Inclusive Cities' project workshop took place from 20 to 22 March 2024 at the South Campus of the University of Copenhagen.

The workshop focused on sharing knowledge, identifying key topics, and agreeing on a common approach to build an interdisciplinary curriculum. Each participating university presented their key research and teaching interests, which align with the project’s aim to develop inclusive urban environments.

The event also featured a CIRCLE seminar on the newly launched Öresund Urban Social Atlas, a digital atlas that maps and analyzes the social dimensions of the city and surrounding landscapes.

Participants of the workshop included Prof. Kristin Veel and prof. Henriette Steiner from the University of Copenhagen, Dr. Editha Marquardt and Ira Borgstedt from Heidelberg University and Dr. Karolina Wojciechowska from the University of Warsaw.
