Henriette Steiner

It is known that the COVID-19 pandemic generally increased inequalities, particularly in cities. However, it remains an open question as to whether the emergence and/or deepening of these inequalities during the pandemic were transitory or continue to have an impact on people's lives. The visiting professorship will allow Henriette Steiner (Associate Professor, Head of Section, University of Copenhagen) to collaborate with the Quality of Life Technologies lab, led by Katarzyna Wac (Professor, University of Geneva). The goal is to unify intersectional research methods from both the humanities and data sciences to study the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on cities.
