The purpose of this project is to establish a 4EU+ network of postdocs in Agricultural, Climate, and Environmental Economics in Europe. The main objectives of the project are to strengthen the research capabilities of junior researchers, foster collaboration among Alliance universities, enhance the professional capacities of early career researchers, and promote a sustainable research community. The project aims to build closer ties among the 4EU+ universities by creating an interdisciplinary postdoc network. This network will facilitate discussions on research questions, identify associated research needs, and share knowledge related to Agricultural, Climate, and Environmental Economics in Europe. Additionally, the project will provide a training and development platform for early career researchers to enhance critical skills and competencies required for prestigious international funding opportunities such as Marie S. Curie postdoc funding, European Research Council (ERC) starting grants, and Horizon Europe. Furthermore, the project will focus on identifying potential funding opportunities and writing joint and/or individual applications to sustain and scale up collaborative relations among the Alliance universities. Lastly, the project aims to promote a sustainable research community and foster long-term collaborations across different generations within the Alliance. By expanding the number of actively involved individuals, this project contributes to the overall ecosystem of the 4EU+ Alliance.
