About the workshop:
This workshop is designed for PhD candidates from across the 4EU+ Alliance and aims to provide an introduction to the evolving landscape of Open Science and scholarly communication. Building on a practical Open Access toolkit, adapted to reflect the policies, infrastructures, and implementation practices of the different 4EU+ institutions, participants will explore the main publishing models, including Green, Gold, Diamond Open Access and preprints. The workshop will also examine emerging approaches to research dissemination and evaluation, with a focus on Review then Publish and Publish–Review–Curate models. Through discussion and exchange, participants will develop a shared understanding of responsible publishing practices and contribute to future cross-institutional dialogue on research methods and scholarly communication.
The webinar is organised in the context of 1CORE – Task 3.3: Creating 4EU+ environment for PhD candidates.
