Charles University 4EU+ Mini-Grants

Mini-grants for academics

Since 2019, Charles University supports teams composed of partners from at least three 4EU+ universities in the form of so-called mini-grants, seed funding for activities focused on research and research-based education. The applicants can recieve funding up to ca. 12 000 €/year. Supported activities must be in line with the 4EU+ Mission statement and must be thematically connected to one of the 4EU+ Flagships.

The teams are encouraged to develop sustainable collaboration and submit joint proposals for further external funding.

Student mini-grants

Since 2022, Charles University also supports projects of student teams from the 4EU+ universities. This scheme aims to encourage students and young researchers from all around the 4EU+ Alliance to collaborate without the limitation of their fields, faculties, or universities. The projects can focus on initiating international research collaboration, organizing joint educational activities (workshops, soft skill courses, etc.) and developing socio-cultural collaboration and strengthening the third role of the university (active involvement in the social discourse and search for solutions to global economic, social and environmental issues).
