Quantum Information and Quantum Many-Body Theory (QuantEU+)

At the forefront of quantum technologies

We are currently witnessing the second quantum revolution and with it the advent of quantum technological devices for information processing purposes. Understanding these systems and their capabilities, as well as developing robust algorithms for them, requires a fundamental understanding of complex quantum many-body systems as well as ways to characterize their properties efficiently. The blended course on “Quantum Information and Quantum Many-Body Theory (QuantEU+)” for Master’s students and PhD students consists of an online semester course followed by project work and an in-person masterclass. It offers students access to the forefront of technological developments and research in quantum technologies, allowing them to engage in discussions with experts in the field regardless of their home institution.
