Bringing together ethical, legal and social aspects of AI
The Thinking AI project began as a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), but has since been expanded to include a workshop held at Sorbonne University in May 2023. The project is concerned with the societal aspects of artificial intelligence. More precisely, it explores the ethical, legal, and social implications of AI. The online course is open to the public regardless of their background and academic level. While the online course is taught by AI specialists, the workshop at Sorbonne University invited PhD candidates working in the field to present and discuss their work.
The MOOC was developed at SCAI (Sorbonne Cluster for Artificial Intelligence). It is hosted on SCAI’s own education platform, for which everyone can create an account. The course consists of 11 online lessons from recognized specialists and is being updated to ensure up-to-date content. It is self-paced and allows flexible learning.
