In July 2022, the integration of the University of Geneva (UNIGE, Switzerland) as a new member of the 4EU+ European University Alliance was unanimously approved by the Governing Board. UNIGE will become a full member of the 4EU+ European University Alliance Association on 1 August 2022, strengthening 4EU+ objectives in research, teaching and transfer, while intensifying the cooperation and dialogue with stakeholders across Europe.

Thirty students from the 4EU+ member universities participated in the "4EU+ Against Cancer" Summer School organized in the framework of the Flagship 1 educational project at the University of Warsaw.

Chosen at the second call for proposals of 4EU+ educational projects, the GerCoLiNet project saw its members, professors, students and PhD candidates come together in person for one last time during a workshop day at Charles University in Prague, on 27 July 2022.

On 23 June 2022, the European Commission organized the first Education and Innovation Summit. 4EU+ was represented by prof. Anna Wojtyś from the University of Warsaw, who participated in the session dedicated to the digital transformation of education through cross-sectoral cooperation.

The concluding workshop of the 4EU+ course "Visual Literacy: Understanding Images across Europe - Past and Present" took place in the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw on 5 and 6 June 2022. Read the nice words that students participating in the course wrote about their experience!

We should keep building on what is already there. The 4EU+ conference held on 8 June showed the pressing need for collaboration within educational and research infrastructure. Participants expressed their readiness to do so – collaborating across differences and similarities.

The team specializing in visual communication and public relations in cultural institutions, esp. museums and galleries, supported by a CU mini-grant, organized two joint events at the Charles University (25 May 2022) and at the University of Warsaw (15 June 2022).
