University Open Day is an opportunity for young people (and often their families and friends) to get a taste of what studying and living a university student life is like. The Open Day organised at the University of Warsaw on 27 April was also an occasion for the visitors to get to know the 4EU+ Alliance, the initiatives which are already in motion and the offer of courses, summer schools, and full degree programmes which are being developed for 4EU+ current and prospective students.

The representatives of UW Press Office and the Office for International Research and Liaison present at the 4EU+ stand were eagerly answering all questions about the Alliance. Many visitors were asking about the difference between the student mobility within 4EU+ and the traditional Erasmus+ mobility programme. They were also curious about what the selection criteria will be for the “4EU+ label” programmes.

The UW Open Day brought together several thousand visitors. Candidates had an opportunity to talk directly to students, representatives of student associations and societies, academic teachers and employees of university offices such as Admissions Office, International Relations Office, Office for Student Affairs and Career Office.
