Charles University selects 20 projects for funding in a first 4EU+ mini-grants competition

Charles University recently announced the winners of the first 4EU+ mini-grants competition, organised and funded by CU. 23 applications were submitted in the call.

Representatives of Charles University, which is the funding organisation, have been involved in all the submitted proposals. The project teams bring together representatives from at least three 4EU+ partner institutions: University of Warsaw is involved in 13, Heidelberg University in 12, Sorbonne University and University of Copenhagen in 8 and University of Milan in 6 proposals.

The Selection Committee composed of four Vice-Rectors of Charles University have granted funding to 20 submitted proposals. They were assessed according to their relevance to the 4EU+ Flagship Programmes, research and education impact, clarity and feasibility of the implementation plan, and cost-efficiency in the proposal’s budget.

Each selected proposal will receive up to approx. € 11,000 of seed funding for further development of the project and preparation of an application for external funding (Erasmus+, Horizon 2020 and other calls).
