Gorgi Krlev wins the 2023 Financial Times Responsible Education Award for Teaching

The winning TRANSFORM project encompassing five universities was originally selected as one of the 4EU+ educational activities supported through the Erasmus+ European Universities programme. The collaborative 14-week course aims at identifying innovative solutions for sustainability challenges.

The 2023 Responsible Business Education Awards were announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos on 17 January 2023. The awards showcase and encourage innovative approaches to areas such as tackling climate change, increasing sustainability, and bringing about greater diversity and inclusion.

Among the four winners selected in the award category for teaching cases and pedagogical resources is Gorgi Krlev, currently an Assistant Professor of Sustainability at ESCP Business School who co-designed the collaborative online course TRANSFORM – Innovation Entrepreneurship for Sustainability with the colleagues from the universities of Heidelberg, Mannheim, Sorbonne, Warsaw, and Copenhagen. About 45 students participated in the spring 2022 run of the course that allowed them to collaborate in groups and create service, product or process innovations addressing sustainability challenges.

Apart from conducting the course, the team built up an open-source online platform that not only provide all course materials to management educators around the globe but also invites them to expand the platform by sharing their own contents with others.
