The 4EU+ European University Alliance is a transnational strategic association of Charles University in Prague, Heidelberg University, Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, Sorbonne University in Paris, the University of Copenhagen, the University of Geneva, the University of Milan, and the University of Warsaw. The 4EU+ Alliance has one vision: to create one comprehensive research-intensive European University through a new quality of cooperation in teaching, education, research and administration.

From 28 to 30 October, Paris-Panthéon-Assas University welcomed the 4EU+ community to Paris for its 2026 Annual Meeting. For the first time since joining the European University Alliance in July 2023, Paris-Panthéon-Assas University hosted this major gathering, which brought together approximately 250 participants from the eight member universities under the theme “4EU+: Europe as a driving force for a brighter future”.

Information stands, interactive games, conversations with Student Ambassadors and even pizza – the start of the 2026/2027 academic year has brought plenty of opportunities to discover 4EU+. Across the Alliance, Local Offices and Student Ambassadors have been meeting new and returning students on campus, introducing them to international learning opportunities, mobility options and ways to become part of the wider 4EU+ community.
In March 2026, Villa Vigoni, Heidelberg University and the 4EU+ European University Alliance agreed on a five-year collaboration aimed at strengthening European academic exchange, extending institutional links and developing joint activities in research and teaching.
