4 July 2019, Paris, France. The Sorbonne University Staff Celebration kicked-off this year with Europe as the central theme. More than 1,600 staff enjoyed food from the five other countries of the 4EU+ Alliance members, and staff representatives from our Alliance came to celebrate alongside Sorbonne University. In addition to touring the Sorbonne’s main science campus, the Alliance visitors also had an opportunity to get to know each other and share perspectives from each university.

The entertainment stands at the celebration were very popular and included a cocktail-creation workshop, free (temporary!) tattoos, and a photo booth. The wellness area offered massages to staff, while others were out on the dance floor. The photo exhibition also allowed Sorbonne University to introduce its staff to the member universities of the 4EU + Alliance.
