4EU+ Student Ambassadors gather in Geneva for their first on-site event

On 14-15 May 2024, the University of Geneva hosted the inaugural on-site gathering of the 4EU+ Student Ambassadors.

With an agenda packed with interactive workshops, brainstorming sessions, and team challenges, the event set the stage for the ambassadors to exchange ideas and forge connections. In a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere, the group fully embarked on their mission to promote the 4EU+ Alliance and its values.

The first day kicked off with a workshop on social media management, where ambassadors had the chance to improve their skills, drawing on lessons from UNIGE's social media management team. They learned about the metrics, content strategies, useful tools, and practical case studies to enhance their social media presence. Additionally, a discussion about crisis communication provided valuable perspectives on navigating challenging scenarios. The day concluded with a scenic lake cruise, followed by a memorable dinner featuring traditional Swiss fondue.



On day two, the spotlight was on the reels challenge where teams showcased their creativity and storytelling skills. Following introductions to 4EU+ mobility opportunities and shared courses, student groups collaborated on producing captivating short videos. Wrapping up the event, participants shared their ideas and enthusiasm to shape the future of this pilot initiative which is realized within the framework of the 1CORE project task 7.4. focusing on student-to-student communication.
