Leading university:

Charles University, Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen

Project leader:

Kateřina Grygarová

Participating universities:

Charles University, Heidelberg University

The "Applied Embryology Summer Workshop" project focuses on conducting a collaborative symposium over four days, designed to create a detailed atlas of oocyte development. Utilizing sophisticated imaging techniques such as ICC and confocal microscopy, the workshop aims to bring together students from various 4EU+ universities, fostering an environment of interdisciplinary learning and future scientific collaboration.

Throughout the symposium, participants will delve into advanced reproductive technologies, including IVF and ICSI methods, and engage with expert speakers on crucial topics in reproductive health. Discussions will also cover the financial and ethical dimensions of assisted reproduction therapies. By encouraging teamwork and expanding knowledge across different scientific domains, the project not only aims to enhance the participants' expertise in embryology but also to break down disciplinary barriers and strengthen collaborative ties across universities.
