For the fourth time, Charles University will offer support for up to 10 projects through student mini-grants, providing seed funding for teams from the 4EU+ universities. This initiative aims to foster collaboration among students and young researchers across the 4EU+ Alliance, regardless of their fields, faculties, or institutions. The projects can focus on initiating international research partnerships, organizing joint educational activities (such as workshops and soft skill courses), and promoting socio-cultural collaboration, as well as strengthening the university's third mission of actively engaging in social discourse and seeking solutions to global economic, social, and environmental challenges. This year, the call particularly encourages projects addressing the themes of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Well-being.
Each project must involve at least three 4EU+ member universities, with a student from Charles University as the applicant. The maximum funding amount available for a project is CZK 150,000 (approximately EUR 6,100).
Deadline for submitting proposals is 17 February 2025.
More information is available on the Charles University website.
Students from all universities are invited to join the '4EU+ student mini-grants community' Facebook group. This group is a place for students to discuss their project ideas and find potential partners within the 4EU+.
