Prof. PhDr. Lenka Rovná, CSc. is the member of the Rector's Board for 4EU+ at Charles University and a Professor at its Department of European Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences. She is publishing and teaching in the field of European Politics and British History and Politics. She is a member of the Executive Board of Coimbra Group, member of Steering Committee and Academic Council of Europaeum, member of the Advisory Board for CERGU, Sweden, etc. Lenka Rovná was an Alternate to the Czech government representative to the Convention on the Future of Europe. She was awarded the title Chavaliere de l’Ordre National du Merite and Officier de l’Ordre du Merite by the French President.
Prof. Dr. Marc-Philippe Weller is the Vice-Rector for International Affairs at Heidelberg University and director of the Institute for Comparative Law, Conflict of Laws and International Business law. As Vice-Rector he is responsible for the international partnerships of the university (including 4EU+) as well as the university’s liaison offices abroad (Santiago de Chile, New York, Delhi, Kyoto). Prof. Weller studied law in Heidelberg and Montpellier. Following his first state examination, he completed his PhD at Heidelberg University and his post-doctoral dissertation (“Habilitation”) at the University of Cologne. Prof. Weller has taught at the universities of Munich, Mannheim and Freiburg and has completed multiple guest professorships around the world.
Emmanuelle Chevreau is a Roman law Professor at Paris-Panthéon-Assas University and Vice-President for International Affairs since December 2020. She is the director of the Institute of Legal History Jean Gaudemet, a joint University-CNRS research unit that focuses on the Romanistic tradition in European legal culture. As a specialist in Roman law, she is interested in the historical foundations of legal systems, particularly in relation to the harmonisation of private law in Europe. She is the author of several books and numerous articles on Roman law, ancient commercial law, and the historical foundations of European private law. Emmanuelle Chevreu has also chaired the national committee that grants accreditation to associate professors and professors and is currently Vice-President of the Conférence Nationale du Droit, an institution that represents universities and the legal professions.
Sabine Bottin-Rousseau is Professor of Physics at the Institut des NanoSciences de Paris at Sorbonne University. Since 2022, she has been the Sorbonne University presidency’s representative for 4EU+ and the coordinator of the European University project. She is also Director of the Open and Distance Learning Department at the Faculty of Science and Engineering. She has conducted several successful projects focused on blended and distance learning, digital resources and online exams. On the physics research side, she was the principal investigator of the ANPHASES project, a Franco-German research project on the anisotropy of eutectic solidification interfaces. She is also participating in the TRANSPARENT ALLOYS project: ESA's multi-user instrument for the International Space Station.
Professor, Dr. Kristian Cedervall Lauta is prorector for education and teaching and a member of the rectorate for the University of Copenhagen (UCPH). His portfolio includes responsibilities for the UCPH strategies on didactics, educational programmes and students’ well-being. Dr. Cedervall Lauta is Professor of disaster and climate law, and his research focuses on disasters, climate and risk; how these phenomena are regulated, and how they affect legislation. He is also a member of Copenhagen Center for Disaster Research. Prior to becoming prorector, he served as the prodean for education at the Faculty of Law at UCPH.
Stéphane Berthet earned a doctorate in Astrophysics and Astronomy at the University of Geneva in 1991, and for 11 years contributed to shaping Switzerland’s research policies, particularly in the field of space. Through SERI, the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation, he was responsible for representing Switzerland at numerous international research institutions such as the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Southern Observatory (ESO), and Euratom. He returned to UNIGE in 2003 as Secretary General until he was named Vice-Rector as of 1 November 2018. He leads the international strategy of the institution, nurturing its close ties to IOs and NGOs based in Geneva and developing partnerships and exchanges with other institutions and universities in Switzerland and worldwide. He also strenghtens the UNIGE academic exchange policy.
Antonella Baldi is Full Professor in Animal Nutrition at the University of Milan, where she serves as Vice-Rector for Internationalization since 2018. Her main interests in research are the role of animal nutrition and welfare in the production of high quality and healthy food of animal origin, in particular milk. She has been very involved in the activities of COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology). She has held the position of Vice-President of the Association for Science and Animal Production (ASPA) and has been member of the board of European Association of Animal Production. She is Editor of the Journal “Animal” in the section of Product Quality, Human Health and Well-being.
Prof. Dr. Sambor Grucza is the Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Human Resources at the University of Warsaw. His research interests are metalinguistics, the theory of language and communication for specific purposes, glottodidactics, translatorics and eye tracking research. In years 2008–2012 and 2016–2020, he held the position of Dean of the Faculty of Applied Linguistics at the University of Warsaw. He is also Elector at the University of Warsaw. Prof. Grucza is President of the Polish Association of Applied Linguistics, Vice-President of the Polnischer Germanisten Verband, and Executive Board member of the Internationale Vereinigung für Germanistik – IVG. He is also a member of Polish Linguistics Society, and Modern Language Association of Poland.
