The 4EU+ European University Alliance publishes a position paper contributing to the current discussion on micro-credentials. 4EU+ recognizes opportunities and challenges presented by the concept of a standardized approach to micro credentials across Europe. As active participants in shaping education policy in their respective countries, 4EU+ member institutions pledge to actively engage in national talks in the Member States on policies and legislative frameworks surrounding the notion of micro-credentials. Outcomes of national talks will be taken into account in future development and offers of Alliance micro-credentials.
