Project Manager (full-time) for 1CORE Project

The 4EU+ European University Alliance Association, as the coordinating organization of the 1CORE project, is seeking a full-time Project Manager to support the Project Coordinator in the coordination and successful delivery of this strategic project.


This role will suit pro-active and versatile professionals with prior experience in the European higher education sector, who are driven by multi-faceted activities and fast-paced international work environments.


Location: the position of Project Manager may be based at the 4EU+ General Secretariat (GS), located in Heidelberg, Germany; at 4EU+ Alliance members' local offices in Prague, Paris, Warsaw, Milan; or in Brussels.

Job announcement: Project Officer for ED-AFFICHE Project at KU Leuven

In autumn 2022, 4EU+ co-developed a strategic project proposal in response to the European Commission’s call to pilot the European Degree label, together with five like-minded European University Alliances, Una Europa (coordinating the project), CHARM-EU, EC2U, EU-CONEXUS and Unite!, in order to further the alliances’ united vision on the European Degree.


KU Leuven, as the coordinator of this project “ED AFFICHE - European Degree: Advancing, Facilitating and Fostering International Collaboration in Higher Education”, is seeking a full-time Project Officer to support the Project Coordinator in the coordination and successful delivery of this strategic project. The Project Officers will report directly to the Project Coordinator, Prof. Kurt Willems, Professor of Education Law and Head of Leuven Centre for Public Law at KU Leuven.

Job announcement: 4EU+ Finance Officer

Start date: ASAP


The position of the Finance Officer (FO) will be based at the 4EU+ General Secretariat (GS), located in Heidelberg (Germany). However, the position can be recruited remotely if a suitable profile is found in one of the following cities where offices of 4EU+ Alliance partners are located: Prague (Charles University), Paris (Sorbonne University), Milan (University of Milan) or Warsaw the (University of Warsaw). The staff at these partner universities will offer support in the process of onboarding and coordination with the GS if a suitable profile is recruited there. In addition, the city of Brussels, Belgium, is a further possible location that can be considered for remote recruitment.

ERA Fellowships ScM – Science Management

Opportunity for science managers from Charles University and University of Warsaw


As part of the national strategy for the European Research Area (ERA), Germany is expanding its collaboration with the EU13 member states. Against this background, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research has launched the “ERA Fellowships ScM – Science Management” action. The action aims to build up capacities in key actors in the field of science management from EU13 science organisations. It is also meant to strengthen networking and cooperation between research organisations, research funding organisations and higher education institutions in Germany and the partner countries.


Time period: 8-12 weeks, starting 15th January 2020 and ending on 31st May 2020 at the latest

University of Warsaw: Travel subsidy for participation in 4EU+ meetings and workshops for administrative staff

Administrative staff from the University of Warsaw can apply for funding to cover the cost of their travel and participation in meetings and workshops for administrative staff of the six 4EU+ Alliance institutions.


Staff members can obtain financial support for their participation in project development meetings, meetings of 4EU+ Working Groups, as well as peer learning activities and thematic workshops aimed at exploring opportunities for closer cooperation.


Applicants are requested to submit a simple form and a personal e-mail confirmation from the organiser of the meeting/workshop.
