The proposed project aims to develop and implement innovative teaching and learning methods, as well as create research-based teaching materials for languages and language-related subjects in the areas of phonetics, phonology, and practical pronunciation at the tertiary level. The project seeks to enhance learning experiences by incorporating principles of accessible education for all and multimodality, utilizing 3D technology. The main objective of the project is to investigate the impact of these materials on language learning experiences and acquisition processes. Specifically, the project aims to answer the question: To what extent does the multisensory approach (using visual, auditory, kinaesthetic, and tactile modes simultaneously) enhance university students' learning experiences in phonetics, phonology, and practical pronunciation of different languages? This project is an extension of an ongoing collaboration between the Faculty of Modern Languages at the University of Warsaw and the University's Office for Persons with Disabilities. The initial phase of the collaboration involved producing a set of 3D materials for English phonetics and phonology classes to support the learning experience of a blind student.
