4EU+ Visiting Professorships

Vadym Zheltovskyy

The Visiting Professorship aims to foster a new level of collaboration between the University of Warsaw and the University of Milan. Key activities include co-teaching a course on EU law and institutions, incorporating both Polish and Italian perspectives, presenting seminars on the EU's transformational leadership and policy changes in light of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and participating in ongoing research at the host institution. The ultimate goal is to enrich students' understanding of European integration, disseminate new research findings, and develop a framework for future cooperation among European studies researchers.

Gaining new insights and sharing expertise in EU studies

'The added value of the fellowship was the opportunity to regularly cooperate with colleagues from the University of Milan and participate in their teaching and research activities as well as present my own research. That created a favourable ground for us to exchange our views on teaching and studying the European Union studies. In this way, the 4EU+ Visiting Professorship has given me a unique chance to get new international experience and broaden my network of research contacts for future joint projects. Therefore, I highly recommend the programme for everybody who wants to gain new insights and share expertise in their field with colleagues from partner university.'
