Students can soon apply for the new Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s in European Environmental Economics and Policy – a world-class programme that offers the exciting opportunity to study at different 4EU+ universities.
The 4EU+ Alliance is proud to announce that the master’s degree programme in European Environmental Economics and Policy (M3EP) has been selected under the European Union's 2024 call for Erasmus Mundus Joint Master programmes. This recognition highlights the programme’s academic excellence and its relevance to addressing Europe's environmental and economic challenges.
The M3EP programme is a collaborative effort between five 4EU+ universities: University of Copenhagen, Heidelberg University, University of Milan, Charles University and University of Warsaw.
The programme offers an interdisciplinary approach that will give students state-of-the-art knowledge, skills and qualifications in environmental economics and political science. Combined with a strong focus on contemporary European environmental policy, this will enable and prepare graduates to effectively take on one of the most complex global challenges and urgently demanding policy areas for EU and its member states in the 21st century: The green transition.
The first year of study will take place at the University of Copenhagen where students will gain core competences in environmental economics, policy and politics as well as a profound understanding of the European policy context.
For the second year, students will complete their studies at one of the four partner universities: Heidelberg University, University of Milan, Charles University or University of Warsaw, each offering a unique perspective and specialisation in environmental economics or environmental policy and politics.
As part of the 4EU+ Alliance, this Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s programme fosters international collaboration and aims to contribute to solving some of Europe’s most urgent environmental challenges through a shared academic vision and expertise.
Applicants can apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship of EUR 1,400 per month for the full two-year programme.
Call for student applications will open on 15 November 2024.
