The aim of this project is to organize a Summer School of Practical Ophthalmology where final-year Medical Students will be able to partake in common procedures and interventions in model situations. This will allow the students to better understand them, and it will also complement and improve their core theoretical knowledge within the field. Students will also be able to improve their soft skills which will further aid their professional and personal development. The project connects the 4EU+ scientific community by inviting top researchers in the field from both 4EU+ participating universities and domestic institutions. Students will thus be able to attend lectures in areas relevant to the experts in question. For the time being, there is no project available to would-be Ophthalmologists like this one expects similar projects are theoretical and scientific Summer Schools. The project has the potential to become an annual event in the future.
